Groundbreaking ceremony for the Finland Pavilion at the World Expo

Planned and implemented by Jiuzhou, the international foundation laying ceremony of the Finnish National Pavilion “Curling” at the Shanghai World Expo was held in the Expo Park on the afternoon of April 22nd. A “curling”-shaped foundation stone was buried in the foundation of the Finnish pavilion. Together with the "curling" that has risen from the ground, Chinese and foreign guests are invited to the Finland Pavilion to "share inspiration." Finnish Minister of Employment and Economy Mauri Pekkalinin, Deputy Secretary-General of the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, Hong Hao of the Shanghai World Expo Coordination Bureau and Hu Yidu, the general representative of the Finnish government at the 2010 Shanghai World Expo, attended the groundbreaking ceremony.

The theme of the exhibition in Finland is “Inspiration Sharing” as the slogan of the exhibition. By encouraging the public to exchange ideas and interact, we will seek a comprehensive life plan and further explore ways to improve urban life. “Yuyu, Talent and Environment” is the core element of the theme and will be presented to the world from the perspective of Finland at the 2010 Shanghai World Expo.
