On November 14, 2018, the 2018 China (Beijing) Transnational Technology Transfer Conference co-sponsored by the Ministry of Science and Technology of China and the Beijing Municipal People's Government was opened at the Beijing National Convention Center. Wang Zhigang, Minister of Science and Technology, and Chen Jining, Deputy Secretary of Beijing Municipal Committee and Mayor of the Beijing Municipal Committee Speech.

At the opening ceremony, the China-UK Innovation Action Plan was launched, the Beijing Zhiyuan Action Plan was released, and five inter-governmental and technical cooperation agreements were signed. Transnational technology transfer is in line with the characteristics of scientific and technological innovation penetration and diffusion, and is in line with the trend of economic globalization and the global division of labor and economic globalization. It is also the intention to establish a global community of technological innovation and destiny. In addition, the conference will also carry out the docking of more than 300 projects, promote the integration of international cutting-edge technology and industry development, and promote the transformation of innovative projects at home and abroad.

The three-day conference will be based on the theme of “open innovation, win-win future”, “three cities and one district” as main platform and“technology transfer factor integration (factors) and  key country cooperation (country).The three main lines of the development of the industry (field) will host 11 parallel special events such as the Roundtable Forum on Transnational Technology Transfer and Regional Innovation Cooperation, the International Innovation Capital Forum, and the National and Field Forums.

In order to ensure the smooth progress of the conference, more than 100 people from the Jiuzhou planning team worked overtime .
