The 1^st International Forum on Transit Oriented Development Beijing. Netherland  was co-sponsored by Royal Netherlands Embassy and Beijing Institute of Architectural Design (Group) Co., Ltd was held in Beijing from September 22th to 23th, 2014. Jia Gaobo, Netherlands Ambassador to China, Huangyan, the director of Beijing Municipal Planning Commission, Wang Wei, the deputy director, Shi Hongya, the vice director of Beijing Land Resources Bureau, Guo Yuan, the vice director of Beijing Civil Defense, Tian Zhenqing, the president of Beijing Infrastructure Investment Co., LTD. and international experts, scholars and managers from the area of the comprehensive development of urban transportation attended the meeting. This meeting was fully planned and implemented by Jiuzhou Planning Company.

At the meeting, Zhu Xiaodi, chairman of the Beijing Institute of Architectural Design Co., Ltd. delivered a welcoming speech on behalf of the organizer. The seminar not only discussed about the urban integration, but also held the establishment ceremony of the BIAD Urban Transport Comprehensive Development Research Center. The chairman of the Beijing Municipal Planning Commission, Huang Yan, and CEO of BIAD Zhu Xiaodi, unveiled the nameplate of this center together.
